ABOUT YOUR  HOME

Welcome to Red  mountain 35 your home away from home.

 

DESCRIPTION

Situated in the tranquil sought after Red Mountain complex. Fully furnished and equipped spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, lounge, kitchen and 2 garage townhouse.  All modern appliances including washing machine, dish washer, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery and much more! Each unit is tastefully decorated with a couch, coffee table, dining table with 4 chairs, a flat 40" TV screen. Linen and towels supplied. Red Mountain gives the family a home to relax.

1. HOUSE RULES

We have a few rules which I’d like to let you know about.

 

#1 - Please Clean Up Dishes

If you use any dishes during your stay, please rinse & remove food before loading the dishwasher. Do not throw food/oil down zinc drain.

 

#2 - Lights & Heating

Please turn off all lights and heating when you leave the apartment each day, and on

check out.  DBD board in kitchen above zinc.

 

#3–Wooden Coffee Table

Do not cut directly onto the wood or use as an ironing board.

#4– Fridge

Do not force the drawers to open if covered in ice - this will damage the drawer.

#5–Ironing 

An iron and ironing board have been provided.  Please refrain from using any other surface as an ironing board

#6 - Noise Level

You are always welcome to entertain guests at your home.  However, respect for those around you must be maintained at all times.  Any disruption; loud music; decorations; guests parking in other tenants parking spots etc. that creates a problem to your neighbours  will not be tolerated.

#7 - Body Corporate Rules

Please ensure that you read through Red Mountain Body Corporate Rules.

#8 - Ensure that valuables are safely stored away. Lock all doors, close windows and remove keys from the doors before leaving the apartment.  Avoid storing any valuable belongings in the garage or vehicles.

#9 - Housekeeping 1 x per week is only included in monthly visits. 

2. ENTRY

Arrival

Contact Susan 0725107684 to open the main gate to Red Mountain.  In the garage between the doors you will find a code box (code released on check in). Next to the fridge you will find a "big bunch of keys" for your use during your stay. 

 

For security reasons please return the keys that you found in the code box back to the CODE BOX. Scramble the number to "delete the code".

 

How to enter property

Entry to property is cell2gate.  You will find a small cell phone & charger in the TV cabinet. Only this cell phone can be used to enter (Dial: Entrance : 0605408068 Exit:0646394644 ).

Alarm Code

No alarm. Optional extra should you wish to activate.

3. PARKING

There are 2 x lock up garages allocated to the unit.  

DO NOT park outside the garages allocated to your unit as the tenants opposite you can then not enter their garages. 

4. APPLIANCES/FEATURES

Here are some common appliances that often need explaining:

Carpet

Clean up spills by using paper towel and dab to soak up the spill…do not rub the carpet.  Carpet CANNOT be washed in the washing machine - ONLY PROFESSIONAL CLEANING

Dishwasher

Please rinse all dishes before placing into the dish washer. Do not overpack the dishwasher and ensure that the blades can rotate.  Place a detergent tablet in the soap dispenser and close. Press the Power Button followed by the start button.

 

Salt:  When the warning light comes on please fill salt reservoir with dish washer salt. Use only dishwasher salt .  Remove the bottom rack and unscrew the lid from the salt reservoir – fill and close lid tightly. Replace the bottom rack.

LEAVE DOOR OPEN WHEN NOT IN USE

Rinse aid: When the warning light comes on please fill with rinse aid situated next to the soap dispense.

DSTV

DSTV package is connected according to your contract.  

Garbage

The garbage room is situated at the entrance of the complex.  Please ensure to keep the unit free from garbage as to keep the environment clean.

Refrigerator

Please do not force the drawers to open in the deep freeze compartment if they have ice and are frozen into position.  Remove any food that is going off to prevent orders.

 

Shower/Bathtub

Please be careful to keep the floor dry so as to avoid slipping on the floor.

 

Stove

Ensure the main plug is switched on at the wall.  Keep the oven clean after use.

 

Cleaning Tools

There is a bucket with a scoop; broom; iron & ironing board. Stored in the broom cupboard in the kitchen.

Washing Machine

1.Use one spoonful of detergent powder. Put washing powder into the far left compartment of the detergent drawer. 

2. Fabric softener can be poured into the blue compartment drawer – do not exceed the maximum full line. 

3.Close the door of the machine.

4. Press the POWER BUTTON on the left hand side of the control panel. Next turn the CYCLE SELECTOR KNOB to QUICK START 30 (30minute cycle – works well).  Press the START/PAUSE BUTTON and the cycle will begin.

5. When the cycle comes to the END a little tune will play. Wait a few minutes before opening the door.

 

LEAVE DOOR OPEN

 

Zinc

Do not pour any liquid, oil or food that will block the system in the zinc.
